Charitable Work

Anthony Disorbo has seen the immense benefit his company has had on the community he lives and works in, and has thoroughly enjoyed extending beyond the business scape in an effort to raise awareness for a variety of causes.

Among the charitable organizations American Van Lines has worked with are Toys for Tots, which ensures happy holidays for less fortunate children; Kiss Breast Cancer Goodbye, which is in support of raising awareness during the month of October for breast cancer research; pledging long-term support for Memory Walks for Alzheimer’s; Birdies for the Brave which is sponsored by PGA Tour Charities, and raises money for the families of soldiers who have died or suffered injury while in combat; and Fundacion Rayito de Sol, which helps underprivileged children in Colombia through providing educational and nutritional resources .

In this same spirit of giving back and supporting amazing organizations that are going above and beyond, several American Van Lines trucks have been permanently adorned with logos and graphics in honor of these charities. Their Glam-A-Thon and Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk moving trucks are constant symbols throughout South Florida of the amazing initiative this company has participated in, donating a portion of their proceeds yearly.
